Judge Morrell For Circuit Judge

Judge Morrell began her career as a Missouri Assistant Attorney General where she represented the State of Missouri in trial and appellate courtrooms in over 300 appeals. She has also successfully argued before the Missouri Supreme Court more than a dozen times. Judge Morrell joined the Boone County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in 2007. During her 12 years as a prosecutor, she tried over 120 cases and established herself as a trusted attorney who was often called upon to handle the most complicated Boone County cases. As Judge, she has presided over thousands of cases and hundreds of hearings and trials.

Judge Morrell was elected to the bench in 2018 and re-elected in 2022.  During her tenure as Associate Circuit Judge, she has handled thousands of criminal, civil, and probate matters.  She has been recognized for her dedication to Public Service and the Mid-Missouri Community receiving the Missouri Prosecutors President's Award in 2015 and the Woman of the Year Award for Public Service in 2019.
